Education Together Foundation has two options available for establishing a scholarship:
- An Annual Scholarship Donation
- An Endowed Scholarship
Both types of scholarships are covered by an agreement and the contributor is notified at least annually of the status of their scholarship.

Annual Scholarship Donation (ASD)
An Annual Scholarship Donation is a fund to which a contributor agrees to give a designated
amount of money each year for an indefinite period of time. The contributor can choose:
- the amount of the scholarship (at least $500)
- the name of the scholarship
- the qualifications of the recipient
- whether ETF has any discretion in awarding the scholarship if a candidate does not meet the established qualifications
ETF charges an annual $50 administration fee for managing the donated funds and using our application process to select the candidate that best matches the qualifications set by the contributor.
Endowed Scholarship
An Endowed Scholarship is a fund started with a minimum of $10,000 and is established with the intent of providing scholarships in perpetuity based upon the annual earnings from the endowed fund. ETF manages both living and memorial endowment funds through the Oregon Community Foundation. The contributor can choose:
- the amount of the scholarship
- the name of the scholarship
- the qualifications of the recipient
- whether ETF has any discretion in awarding the scholarship if a candidate does not meet the established qualifications
ETF charges a one-time fee of $250 to set-up the endowed scholarship and create an administrative account with the Oregon Community Foundation. Each year ETF may, at its discretion, collect a fee of .0003 or at least $50 from the annual earnings. This fee is to cover the use of our application process to select the candidate that best matches the qualifications set by the contributor.
